Gaudiani is a provocative, engaging communicator about the importance of philanthropy in America. She speaks to national and regional groups, helping them energize donors, build community commitment, or set new organizational agendas to benefit 'the greater good'. She and her team also organize workshops for trustees and directors planning campaigns. While she speaks most often to not-for profit organizations, she also addresses corporate groups including financial services organizations and legal associations about the role of philanthropy in their work.

Because of her teaching, writing, and consulting schedule, Claire accepts
a limited number of speaking engagements each year. She works closely with the organizers of these engagements to develop her presentations. She does not deliver 'canned' remarks or present the same information twice. Claire maintains an active research and writing agenda, and thus is always able to draw on fresh material for her presentations. While most often called upon to inspire civic and corporate leaders to work on behalf of 'the greater good'. Claire also enjoys opportunities to address religious, higher education, and women's groups. Her new book on women social entrepreneurs will appear in 2009.
