Claire Completes Report on Community Philanthropy

Claire has completed a project for the Ford Foundation designed to draw attention to the 'local heroes' of philanthropy. She has profiled the remarkable generosity of migrant workers in south Texas who are working to improve their own health outcomes. She has also captured the accomplishments of the Community Investment Network based in Raleigh, NC, that features black giving circles across the Southeast.

Claire's report on the philanthropic work of Emma Torres and other migrant workers can be found here. Her report on the work of Darryl and Dionne Lester, Tim MacIntosh, Antoine Medley, and many others in Raleigh can be found here. These stories of 'grassroots' philanthropy are very powerful. We are fortunate as a nation to have such great citizens as these!

Generosity Rules!

Claire's most recent book..a handbook really...that packs her best stories into 64 pages for a quick read. It comes with a handy graphic showing how generosity creates prosperity...a great tool to use for discussion with a Board or a prospective donor.

Gen Rules Claire Gaudiani

Claire also offers seven 'rules' for generous living that are light-hearted, but provide plenty of food for thought...Rule number one??? 'Count your blessings...every day!' the benefits to your health are amazing and well-documented.
